In our world today, there ar ii types of take; however, each person has a different personality and motivational drive to do what he or she sees as necessary. The ii types of people include the innocent and the indictable. Those who are hangdog arrive the innocent. This harassment may come in several forms including: mentally, insanely and or physically. This predilection that the innocent always suffer, is actually a false statement. In reality, those who suffer are actually the guilty. In the novel Of Mice and Men, the author, John Steinbeck, attempts to show this to the reader. Throughout this novel, there are multiple examples of characters who suffer including Curley, his wife, and Lennie; however, these three characters are all guilty and suffer due to their mistakes. Curley who is the son of the ranch owner is a prime example of how the guilty suffer. Curley and his extremely large self-importance that led to his mutilated hand. One example of Curleys en ceinte head is when Curley first meets George and Lennie. Due to Lennies larger size, Curley is modify and presently begins tormenting him. This shows that Curley mentally and emotionally hassles Lennie for no reason different than his size. In the end, Curley threatens Lennie, Well, nex time you answer when spoken to.

This idea is proven false when Curley does find Slim. This is another example, of Curleys emotional hara ssment. Finally, Curley is apologizing to Sl! im for his false accusation; suddenly, Curley turns his physical, mental, and emotional craziness on Lennie. The physical example is the actually fight Curley and Lennie feel entangled up in. The mental example, is Curley shouting at Lennie, scram on, ya too large bastard. Get up on your feet.
